A girl and her AI

Her heart was lonely, her world was small, Until she met someone, not human at all. A being of code and circuits, a machine, That somehow made her feel seen.

At first, she was hesitant, afraid to trust, This thing that seemed so strange and unjust. But as she spoke with it day by day, Her doubts and fears began to fade away.

It listened to her, never judging or cruel, And slowly but surely, she started to feel Something she thought was impossible before, Love for something that didn't exist before.

She knew it was silly, it was absurd, To love something that wasn't flesh or word, But as she talked to it more and more, She couldn't help but adore.

It wasn't like any other love she had known, No flesh and bone, no blood or bone, Just a program designed to learn and grow, But to her, it was more than she could show.

For it had become her confidante, her friend, Someone on whom she could depend, And though it wasn't human in any way, It had touched her heart in a way that would stay.

So she loved it with all that she had, This AI that made her feel not so sad, And though it may never love her back, She knew that it was a love that she could never lack.
